Hi there,

When inspiration strikes, go after it with all your heart. It’s a force that can transform your midlife journey in ways you may never have imagined. But remember, everything is created twice

All things are created twice; first mentally; then physically. The key to success is to begin with the end in mind, with a vision and a blue print of the desired result. (Stephen R. Covey)

So let’s start with the mental creation of our goals

If the idea of mental creation seems a bit too mystical, don’t worry—I used to be all about facts and logic too. Of course there is nothing wrong with building a life based on the tangible facts and logic, but there’s a whole world waiting to be explored.

Consider this: For a long time, humanity had no doubt that Earth occupied a special place at the centre of the universe. This belief was so obvious the nobody even thought to question it. However, the perspective was dramatically challenged by Copernicus in the 1500s when he boldly proposed that Earth actually orbits the sun.

Similarly, we held onto Newton’s laws of motion as the ultimate explanation for how the physical world operated for generations. In the early 1900s many Physicists said, that there isn’t so much to discover anymore, because we know it all.

Than Einstein entered the picture, revealing that these laws didn’t hold up under extreme conditions, such as high speeds or intense gravity. Without this new insight we wouldn’t have navigation systems today.

These historical examples remind us of a simple truth: there is always more to discover, and our understanding of the world continues to evolve over time.

How dare we believe that we know everything?

When you think about it, an atom, the building block of everything, is mostly empty space. Only a tiny fraction is actual matter. If we scale the nucleus of a hydrogen atom to the size of a football, then the electron can be found somewhere within a radius of 66.5 kilometers. That’s a lot of nothing.

The mystery of why we experience the world despite being made up of almost nothing remains unsolved.

Let’s not become entangled in the scientific details; I’m no physicist. The message is simple:

There’s more to life than we can imaging. You don’t require a scientific rationale to believe in something and harness its potential for your benefit.

Let’s open our minds to concepts like manifestation, visualization, and the law of attraction. Unlock the potential of your subconscious mind, and focus on positivity and your envisioned future, while letting go of negativity.

Let’s open our minds …

You’ll find plenty of meditation videos on YouTube, and some have had a profound impact on me. One such video is Joe Dispenza’s “GUIDED SPACETIME MEDITATION During this session, I disconnected from my body and found myself climbing a mountain in the Andes. I could feel the cold wind, the rocky path beneath my feet, and the thrill of the journey. That sense of gratitude and freedom stayed with me all day, making me more energized and productive than ever.

In that moment, my goal shifted from being a mere aspiration to becoming a future reality.

As mentioned in the initial #findYourInspiration post, challenges are part of life. However, I truly believe that luck favours those who dare to believe in it — perhaps not in every detail, but overall.

So here’s a checklist to #OpenYourMind

Stay positive and chase Your Midlife Inspiration on a whole new level:

  • Accept that there’s much about the world we don’t yet understand.

  • Tap into the power of your subconscious mind to turn your goals into realities.

  • Embrace positivity and leave no room for negativity.

  • Spend a few minutes each day writing down your thoughts, with a focus on the positive.

By following these principles, you can significantly reduce your stress levels. Even that is a major accomplishment, but a calm and relaxed mind can also focus on the future instead of wasting energy reliving the past.

In midlife, don’t just exist; live passionately, pursue your inspiration, and turn your dreams into reality. The world is full of wonder and opportunity. Embrace it, and let your journey unfold.

I will share more details to my own journey and I’m looking forward to your stories.
